La Fiesta Brava Mexican Restaurant in Waterloo

Went there for dinner, fajitas were piping hot! Food very fresh and tasty, and the service was great, waiters very attentive and on top of everything from getting the food out very quickly to refilling drinks, highly recommend.

By first the best Mexican food. It was authentic and the servers were very welcoming. They spiced up the food as per our request. Loved the fact that it was not too crowded and my 10 month old toddler felt comfortable and he too enjoyed the rice and the beans. A million times would return here and recommend the place to my friends.

A local favorite. Always quick and delicious. Love the fajitas!

Seriously, the best Mexican food I've had since I moved to the East Coast. If you're looking for Tex Mex, look elsewhere- this is true Mexican cuisine. Also, we found the service to be both prompt and extremely professional. So BTW, if you have a complaint about the service, try going when they're not so busy; it's because they're good!!!

La Fiesta Brava was spectaculair in every way. The waiters were fast and attentive to refill water and chips. The entrees were not only delicious but also huge, and the environment was great too. 10/5 stars!

Pretty standard Mexican food, but definitely adapted to an American palette. House made salsa is good, though a bit mild. Relatively inexpensive. Service was great. Very fast and very attentive. Overall, a great value for the price. If you're in the area, I'd wholeheartedly recommend stopping in for a meal.

Love this little jem. The food is unbelievable. Service is always great. Try a extra large margarita you need 2 hands to hold it and a strecher to take you out but so good.

Stopped in randomly for lunch and we were happy we did. The lunch portion to price ratio was outstanding as we were all the way full with some taken home. My husband loves his chili relleno and my steak fajitas arrived hot and flavorful. The service was attentive and the food arrived fast.

Overall a nice restaurant. Quick service and the food was reasonably tasty, no too much spice. The only criticism I have of the food would be the presentation. If you judged on looks alone it wasn't very appetizing but tasted good.

Food was bland. Service was WAAAAYYY to fast! Server walked away twice mid ordering. Food was brought out as it was being made so the end of our order came out 20 minutes after the 1st plate. When asking the server the difference between 2 burritos and which one was better, he told us they were the same. Would not recommend.

I'm used to a little spicier, but they probably adjusted for Yankees. Great food, great service, and fun atmosphere.

Wow! Went with my parents and everything was so good. I got nachos fajitas, and as a big guy I still had leftovers. The leftovers were great btw! My folks both liked their dinners as well. Waiter was very friendly and offered more chips and salsa as they got low. Would go again if in town!

fun vibe, great service, the food was incredible and well-portioned. I ordered a "medium" house margarita and let me tell you.... if a medium is this big, I'm really curious how big the large and pitcher sizes are.

Truly the ABSOLUTE BEST Mexican restaurant you will find! The food is delicious and fresh, the portions are HUGE (yes, the entrees pictured are as big as they look lol), the prices are very reasonable and the service is fantastic! My husband and I literally drive almost an hour, each way, just to come to La Fiesta Brava...and it is worth the drive every single time! Highly, highly recommend!!!
